Trade shows have been virtual this past year and a half, and while smaller online conferences have still allowed us to showcase our fusion splicers and connectivity tools, we’re more than ready for the return of in-person shows.
Hands-on, live, in-person demonstrations of our products are crucial to helping our customers understand their best use, functionality and uniqueness. And now, it’s finally time to get back to those hands-on demos, and back to in-person trade shows!
Below, we’ve listed the upcoming trade shows that UCL Swift will be exhibiting at. Take a look, make your own trade show plan, and come out and connect with us.
As the leading optical fiber business and technology event in North America, Fiber Connect is the perfect first stop for in-person trade shows this year. Organized by the Fiber Broadband Association, this year’s event will offer opportunities for business development, market development, technology demonstration and peer-group interaction.
The Fiber Connect community is the primary driver of investment, deployment and operation of next-generation gigabit broadband networks. That’s why we’ll be showcasing our HDC connector and KF4A-HDC and K33-HDC splicers at our booth — tools that make field terminations a snap for broadband technicians. We hope to see you at the booth as we get this trade show season going!
Atlantic City, NJ
Next up, our team is heading to the Garden State to participate in the New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association (NJELSA) Training Summit. With training seminars on everything from low voltage and storefront electrical solutions to licensing law
and fire code, this trade show is a great place to freshen up your safety knowledge. We’ll be there demoing our highly advanced KF4A all-in-one fusion splicer as the only company on the market with this patented item.
Only a few short days later we’ll be back in Texas for this year’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). A hybrid trade show — both in-person and virtual — OTC is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources.
It also features the industry’s largest equipment exhibition, which is where we’ll be showing off our KF4A-HDC splicer kit. This powerful duo equips technicians to perform the major five functions systematically: stripping, cleaning, cleaving, splicing and protecting; as well as installing a fully compatible OptiTap-style hardened solution, ideal for harsh environments.
Las Vegas, NV
Then it’s off to the biggest and boldest event on our trade show calendar, BISCI’s Fall conference. At BICSI, another hybrid event, we’re planning to pull out all the stops. In their exhibit hall, companies from all backgrounds and verticals of the industry, including cable and access control manufacturers, test and structured cabling equipment suppliers, and data center design and maintenance specialists, will be showcasing the latest ICT technologies and solutions.
Don’t miss out on our booth, where we’ll be giving detailed demonstrations of our KF4A all-in-one splicer, and bringing along all the test gear needed so you can physically try out how easy it is to use for yourself.
Fort Worth, TX
August 31-September 2
We get a small break before traveling back to Texas for the ISE EXPO 2021, which showcases the next wave of innovative solutions and education for essential networks and services in fixed and mobile environments. You should consider attending to get an overview of next-generation ICT infrastructures and to select what technologies and applications your network needs to avoid disruption in the face of rapid transition.
At our booth, you can look forward to getting hands-on experience working with our KR12A all-in-one ribbon splicer, which offers a strong option for in-field fiber splices that delivers superior optical performance and improved productivity.
Las Vegas, NV
A trade show that we always look forward to — and we’re so happy to be returning to — is none other than MINExpo International, the world’s largest mining event. The show covers the entire industry: exploration, mine development, open pit and underground mining, processing, safety, environmental improvement, and more. And it always makes us realize how important our products are and how so many different industries need new and innovative fiber optic solutions.
At this show, we’ll be exhibiting our KF4A and KF4A-HDC kit to show how they eliminate fatal issues common with conventional mechanical connectors including low quality, weak durability and high maintenance costs.
North America’s largest conference and trade show for the connectivity sector, Connect (X) hosts the end-to-end supplier ecosystem building the next-generation 5G network from the ground up. Every segment of the industry is represented at this trade show, from carriers and neutral host networks to governments and enterprises, all wanting to share information with the goal of fulfilling the promise of universal 5G connectivity.
We hope to present our KF4A-HDC and K33-HDC splicers to this group of thought leaders and have them understand how our fusion splicer coupled with our fusion splice-on connectors provides customers the best ROI.
We’re huge fans of the entire team over at SCTE and have always believed in the work they do for the future of connectivity. And we’re thrilled to finally be returning to Atlanta in the fall for their Cable-Tec Expo. Now a hybrid event, the expo offers a unique opportunity to preview the emerging technologies and applications transforming the cable industry specifically.
Cable-Tec Expo represents the evolution of the broadband telecommunications sector, and UCL Swift is ready to evolve and innovate with the industry. If you’re attending this year’s event, stop by our booth and test out one of our newest products, the K33-HDC splicer. This premium IPAAS core alignment splicer is ideal for medium and long-range optical circuits, LAN, CATV and FTTx.
Last but certainly not least on our upcoming trade show calendar is TechNet Indo-Pacific, hosted by AFCEA International. TechNet Indo-Pacific focuses on the regional issues military leaders have identified, including full-spectrum cyber operations as adversaries leverage cyberspace to conduct operations below the threshold of conflict. It’s another event that makes us realize the true impact innovation in the fiber optics and fiber splicing industry can have on other industries.
It’ll be one of the last times this year where attendees can test out our KF4A all-in-one splicer, which reduces installation time and improves connection reliability.
We are more than ready to get back out in real life to the trade shows we’ve attended for years. We can’t wait for hands-on demonstrations, in-person networking opportunities, and the ability to shake hands with new and talented people in the technology and connectivity industry. We hope to see you at one of these upcoming trade shows!
