Fiber Drop Cable

UCL Swift’s FTTH Drop cable offers all the desirable features you would want in an FTTH drop cable. The all-dielectric cable utilizes two non-metallic strength members to permit reliable self-support from the pole to the structure. The gel-free inner tube incorporates water-blocking aramid yarns to protect the optical fibers within. Offered in one or two optical fiber strand designs, UCL Swift’s FTTH cable’s robust UV-resistant HDPE jacket withstands the harshest of environments. The optional toning conductor is available for direct bury or underground conduit applications. When the FTTH cable is used with UCL Swift’s HDC field-installable, hardened fusion splice-on fiber optic connector, you get an easy-to-install solution that will deliver long-term, reliable performance. Field termination of FTTH drop cables allows exact length runs without wasteful, unsightly slack storage coils on the pole or at the structure.
