UCL Swift North America is searching for a Broadband Territory Sales Representative to join our new team in the Southeastern US area! To meet the customer's needs we have developed various products for processing optical fibers such as strippers, cleavers, multi pack, core alignment splicers, and many other related accessories. This position will support and execute UCL Swift North America's corporate sales and marketing strategy by representing the company's products and message within assigned accounts and geographical territory.
Responsibilities
- Present and sell company products and services to new and exiting customers
- Maintain and develop new and existing customer relationships
- Create and present sales materials to customer
- Participate in territory planning and goal setting on market factors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or High School equivalency with a proven track record in the same or similar position
- 2-5 years of experience in a related position is highly recommended
- Ability to grasp and communicate basic product information and technology
- Must be organized with ability to hit tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
Additional Information
- Travel Requirements: 25%
- Expense Coverage: All travel, gas, and a car allowance
Other: Must possess a valid driver's license and suitable transportation for use within the assigned territory

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field or 10 years of experience in this specific field.
- Basic knowledge and computer skills for email, reporting, presentations, online/virtual calls etc.
- Experience in Sales, Technology/Telecommunications Enterprise and/or OSP installation and construction.
- Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, research, and an ability to multitask.
- Ability to speak English fluently (ability to speak Spanish fluently would be a plus, but not required)
- A professional appearance.
- A valid driver's license.
- A personal credit card or ability to acquire a credit card for business purposes.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend etc. (for field trials, trade shows etc.)
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. (Trade Shows)
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and forecasting.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
- Time management and the ability to meet deadlines and understand the importance of such.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and current trends and events in the industry.
- Adhere to time and attendance requirements and requests.
- Conditions could vary depending on the needs. Office to field etc.
- Some days might require more than an 8 hour work day. (trade shows, travel etc.)
